Source Sought Notice for Two (2) Highly Accelerated Stress Test (HAST) Chamber

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information on commercial vendors that can provide Highly Accelerated Stress Test (HAST) equipment. The HAST chamber is used for reliability testing and can simulate years of environmental aging in just a few days. NIST is looking for vendors that can provide one or both types of HAST chambers, with specific technical specifications. The equipment will be used for non-destructive defect detection metrology development and to study the effect of thermal environment on polymeric components used in advanced packaging of heterogeneously integrated semiconductors. • The HAST chamber must have a minimum interior volume of 21 liters and be able to accommodate multiple samples up to 300 mm in diameter. • The chamber must have a temperature range of 105 °C to 162 °C and humidity control range of 75-100% RH. • The chamber must have a built-in water supply tank and comply with the JESD22A11E standard testing. • Vendors must provide information on their company, equipment, and services, including installation, training, and maintenance. • Vendors must also provide pricing information and any relevant certifications or compliance with regulations.
