INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE TO METALTEK FOR HAULING WINCH DRUMS TO SUPPORT T-AKE CLASS VESSEL

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound intends to solicit and contract a firm fixed price supply type contract for OEM Hauling Winch Drums for Replenishment at Sea Station with only one source, MetalTek International. The contractor will be required to deliver four hauling winch drums to the MSC WAREHOUSE in Norfolk, VA. The drums will be used to support the T-AKE class vessel. The contract will be awarded on a sole-source basis, and the government anticipates awarding the contract on or about 20 Mar 2026.
