The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division, is soliciting quotations for the manufacture of Wedge components for use on Navy submarines. The procurement specification contains the requirements for manufacture and contract quality requirements. The supplier shall meet the material, physical, and mechanical requirements as specified on Drawing 4491157. The supplier shall also provide a written Quality Inspection and Test Plan, and the plan must be approved by the Government. The evaluation for the award of the proposed requirement will be based upon the lowest aggregate total price submitted for the total quantity, inclusive of the option provision. Key requirements include: * Meeting the material, physical, and mechanical requirements as specified on Drawing 4491157 * Providing a written Quality Inspection and Test Plan * Ensuring the material supplied contains no metallic mercury and is free from mercury contamination * Marking and identifying each production lot unit with contract, lot or batch, and serial number * Notifying the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division, after award of contract * Maintaining Objective Quality Evidence Data (OQEDs) of raw material and finished parts
