Description
The Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory is seeking proposals for the procurement of vacuum jacketed cryogenic hoses for LAr service. The hoses must have a temperature rating of -320 to 100F, a pressure rating of full vacuum to 100 psig, and a nominal size of 1 inch with an inner diameter of approximately 1.25 inches. The hoses must also have MLI insulation on the process line, be designed and constructed per ASME B31.3, and have a minimum bend radius of 14 inches or less. The proposal must include a formal quote on company letterhead, a completed RFP form, a completed SARC form, and a completed PUR-466 form.
• The proposal must be submitted by 5pm CST on November 27, 2025.
• The award will be made to the supplier who is deemed responsible and whose proposal conforms to the solicitation's requirements and is judged to represent the best value.
• The proposal must include F.O.B. Fermilab delivery terms, and all freight charges must be included in the quotation.
• The following representations must be completed and returned with the proposal: SARC - Subcontractor Annual Reps & Certs (Rev. 6) and PUR-466 - Proposal Certifications (Rev. 5 Dated 10/14/2025).
