5835 Supply & Deliver 8 Speed Radar Signs

The City of New Rochelle is seeking bids for the supply and delivery of 8 speed radar signs, including 6 Radarsign's TC-600A ac powered radar signs and 2 Radarsign's TC-600S solar powered radar signs. The signs should come with 1-Year of Cloud Connectivity and Management, and include mounting bracket and modem. The signs should meet the specifications outlined in the bid document. • The signs should have a 2 or 3 digit capable, 13” tall numbers for speed display, super bright amber LEDs in full matrix design. • The signs should have a life up to 100,000 hours and laser cut flat black mask enhances visibility of LED display when illuminated. • The signs should have automatic brightness adjustment to ambient light conditions. • The signs should have standard alerts: SPEED (3 flash rate options) | SLOW DOWN | TOO FAST. • The signs should have optional message alerts: SHARP CURVE | right or left facing Chevrons | SCHOOL ZONE | FINE $$$ | Smiley face | Enhanced font | Custom message alert upon request. • The signs should have optional Strobe alerts: red alert | blue alert | white alert (can simulate a camera flash) | alternating red/blue alert. • The signs should have speed display flash rates: MUTCD flash (approx. 55-60 fpm) | slow flash (approx. 90 fpm | fast flash (approx. 140 fpm). • The signs should have display speed and word message alerts, alternately or individually, based on speed settings. • The signs should have a type: K Band, single direction Doppler radar | FCC part 15 compliant | No license required. • The signs should have a sensor range: Detects vehicles up to 1200 feet. • The signs should have a beam width: 12 degrees, +/- 2 degrees. • The signs should have an operating frequency: 24.125 GHz, +/- 50 MHz. • The signs should have an accuracy: +/- 1.0 mph. • The signs should have a speed detection range: 5-127 Mph. • The signs should have a 2 Year Warranty on parts and labor, including batteries. • The signs should have optional third year warranty extension available.
