Addendum 1 - Scale House and Entrance Improvements v1

The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to demolish the existing scale house and truck scales at its municipal solid‑waste landfill, and to construct a new scale‑house building, two truck scales, associated site grading, storm‑water controls, paving, utilities, fencing, and landscaping. The contract is self‑contained; the contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to complete the work to the specifications and achieve substantial completion by 31 December 2026. • Demolition of existing scale house, truck scale, and related structures, with proper disposal of debris. • Construction of a new building (architectural, structural, MEP) and installation of two inbound/outbound truck scales, foundations, catwalks, and remote‑operated gate. • Full site work including earthwork, storm‑water infrastructure, concrete pads, curbs, sidewalks, pavement, utility installation (water, sewer, electrical conduit), fencing, signage, and landscaping/seeding. • Required performance and payment bonds, insurance, QA/QC testing, and delivery of as‑built documentation, warranties, and operation manuals.
