The United States Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to repair the MK38 gun mount on the USCGC VIGOROUS. The work includes renewing the MK38 gun foundation and associated brackets, removing and reinstalling the existing gussets, fabricating new steel MK38 foundation ring and brackets/gussets, and installing the new foundation ring and brackets/gussets. The contractor must also perform a boundary test and an operational test after completion of the work. The period of performance is from 18 May 2026 to 29 May 2026, with a possible extension to 5 June 2026. • The contractor must have experience with shipbuilding and repair. • The contractor must be able to work onboard the USCGC VIGOROUS. • The contractor must be able to provide a detailed cost breakdown. • The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to export control and security.
