The East Brunswick Board of Education is seeking a qualified contractor to remediate a contaminated site and demolish existing structures at 352 Cranbury Rd, East Brunswick, NJ. The work includes hazardous‑soil removal, full demolition of buildings and foundations, utility disconnection, and removal/re‑grading of existing driveway and parking surfaces. Bids are to be submitted as a single lump‑sum overall contract; the owner may award alternates for utility disconnection and driveway removal. A $50,000 general allowance is included in all bids.
• Demolition of existing structures (C021) and complete site‑work (C054).
• Removal, disposal, and proper handling of contaminated soil and debris.
• Alternate scope: utility disconnection at the property line and removal/re‑grading of asphalt‑gravel driveway and parking surfaces.
• Required pre‑qualification in DPMC classifications C008, C009, C021 (and C030, C047, C054 for subcontractors).
• Bid security: 10 % of the bid, not to exceed $20,000; bids must be sealed and submitted by 1 PM on June 4 2026.
