2026 SIDEWALK REPAIR AND CURB RAMP RETROFIT PROJECT

The 2026 Sidewalk Repair and Curb Ramp Retrofit Project involves the placement of sidewalks, curb, and gutter at various locations throughout Douglas County. The project includes the removal of concrete pavement, removal of curb and gutter, aggregate base course, concrete pavement, concrete sidewalk, and curb and gutter. The project requires a pre-qualification status with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and a bid bond of at least 5% of the total bid. Key aspects of the project include: • Removal of 4,510 SY of concrete pavement • Removal of 20,700 LF of curb and gutter • Placement of 2,560 tons of aggregate base course • Placement of 4,550 SY of concrete pavement • Placement of 250 SY of concrete sidewalk • Placement of 19,100 LF of curb and gutter • Erosion control and emergency repairs The project is expected to be completed within 90 calendar days, and the contractor is responsible for maintaining access for pedestrians, bicyclists, and disabled persons throughout the project.
