Description
The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department, Fleet Directorate intends to solicit Secret Squirrel, LLC on a sole source basis to provide training services with a curriculum derived from submarine tactical operations. The resultant contract will be issued on a firm-fixed-price basis and will contain a one-year base period, with four subsequent option periods. The contractor shall provide tailored training services to support the Naval Oceanographic Office's mission objectives. The training will include topics such as support to the CNMOC Community of Interest, basic sonar operations, contact-generated sources, tactical use of the ocean environment, passive ASW operations, active and ASUW operations/predictions, ASW weapons, and combat operations.
• The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with a base period of 1 year and 4 option periods of 1 year each.
• The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform the services.
• The contractor shall perform services at the Naval Oceanographic Office.
• The contractor shall provide a contract manager who shall be responsible for the performance of the work and act as a single point of contact for the Government.
• The contractor shall ensure that all contract personnel are identified as such while attending meetings, answering Government telephones, answering emails, and if working in other situations where their contractor status is not obvious to third parties.
