USNS LEROY GRUMMAN_Balanced Fairlead Replacement_Sole Source

The United States Navy is soliciting a quote for the replacement of balanced fairleads on the USNS LEROY GRUMMAN (T-AO 195). The requirement is for eleven fairleads with rollers from Smith-Berger Marine, Inc. The contractor must provide a firm fixed price for the items. The delivery period is on or before 30 Nov 2026. The contractor will be required to provide item unique identification for the delivered items. • The contractor must provide a unique item identifier for each item. • The contractor must report the unique item identifier information as part of the Material Inspection and Receiving Report. • The contractor must use two-dimensional data matrix symbology to mark the items. • The contractor must ensure that the data elements of the unique item identifier conform to the transfer structure, syntax, and coding of messages and data formats specified for Format Indicators 05, 06, and 12 in ISO/IEC International Standard 15434.
