Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) is soliciting quotes for the procurement of Honeywell Super TJE Pressure Transducers. The requirement is for 12 units, and the contractor must provide the items on a brand name basis only, with no substitution allowed. The period of performance is 18 weeks from the date of award. The Government has determined that only Honeywell has the proprietary rights to the specifications needed to fulfill this requirement. The contractor shall provide a unique item identifier (UID) for all delivered items for which the Government’s unit acquisition cost is $5,000.00 or more.
Key points to consider:
• The contract will be awarded based on the LPTA approach with technical acceptability.
• The contractor must provide proof that all items are shipped from the US, and drop shipping is unacceptable.
• The contractor must provide proof that all items configured in house are new products, and gray market items will not be accepted.
• All resellers shall provide proof of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) authorized reseller status.
• The Government will consider past performance information where negative information within Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) may render a quote being deemed technically unacceptable.
