Mason Farm Wastewater Treatment Plant Digester 2 Cleaning

The Orange Water and Sewer Authority is seeking bids for the cleaning of Digester 2 at the Mason Farm Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project involves removing all contents and cleaning the interior of the digester tank, which was originally constructed in 1979. The tank serves as an equalization tank to accept transfers from Digester No. 3 and transfers to Digester No. 1. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and associated appurtenances required to complete the work. The project is expected to be completed within 120 consecutive calendar days from the date of notice to proceed. • The project requires the contractor to have a valid North Carolina General Contractor's License. • The contractor must submit a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Bid Bond or certified check with their bid. • The project has a minimum goal of 10% participation by minority businesses. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to excavation and location of utilities. • The contractor must also comply with Orange Water and Sewer Authority's safety program.
