Description
Delgado Community College is seeking bids for concrete services on an as-needed basis for all Delgado Community College campuses. The contract requires the bidder to provide all materials and perform all work as outlined in the bid form. The bidder must have at least eight years of experience in concrete work and must be commercially licensed by the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors. The bidder must also be registered, active, and in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State.
Some key aspects of the job include:
• Removing existing concrete walkways or slabs and replacing them with new ones
• Placing new concrete slabs on prepared bases and subbases
• Core drilling holes through existing concrete slabs
• Sawcutting existing concrete surfaces
• Removing and replacing sections of existing concrete street curbs
The successful bidder will be responsible for ensuring that all work is performed in a workmanlike manner and in accordance with the bidding documents.
