Street Improvement Plans for the Riverside Civil Rights Walk Project

The City of Riverside is seeking bids for the Street Improvement Plans for the Riverside Civil Rights Walk Project. The project consists of pedestrian improvements of a 1.8-mile core loop and a 2.9-mile expanded loop walking route throughout Downtown Riverside. The routes will connect 24 historic and cultural landmarks that highlight both the civil rights movement and the City of Riverside's history. Project improvements include the installation of monuments and wayfinding signage, wayfinding pavement markings, reconstructed sidewalks and driveways, improved ADA-compliant ramps, enhanced crosswalks, accessible pedestrian signals, signal detection, flashing LED signs, and Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) posts with signage. The contractor will be required to hold a valid Class "A" Contractor's License from the California State License Board.
