Description
The Township of Monroe is soliciting competitive sealed bids for the construction of a new police department storage building, limited to site‑work, concrete slab and apron construction, and complete electrical service installation, followed by site restoration and clean‑up. Bidders must obtain plans for $50 each (plus $25 shipping if mailed) no later than March 30, 2026, and submit sealed bids by 10:00 a.m. on April 1, 2026. The contract will require a 10 % bid bond (capped at $20,000) and, if the awarded price exceeds $100,000, a 100 % performance bond within ten days of award. All bidders must provide required state registrations and compliance statements.
• Scope includes grading, earthwork, demolition of existing HMA surfaces, concrete building slabs, sidewalks, aprons, and full electrical service.
