LISD Safety & Security Fencing Upgrades, package #1

The Longview Independent School District (LISD) is seeking proposals for safety and security fencing upgrades at various LISD campuses. The scope of work includes miscellaneous gate replacement, fence replacement, and new fencing work. The contractor will be required to provide a complete functioning system, including fencing materials, concrete footing/foundations, gates, gate operators, and all necessary electrical materials. The contractor will also be required to coordinate with LISD IT/Access control for integration into the LISD Access Control system. • The project includes the supply and installation of fencing materials and components, concrete footing/foundations, gates, gate operators, and all necessary electrical materials. • The contractor will be required to demolish existing fencing and gates as required and leave the site in the same or better condition than prior to beginning work. • The contractor will be required to provide a complete (1) year labor and materials warranty, and the Ameristar product shall include the manufacturer’s 20-year warranty. • The Liftmaster components shall include manufacturer’s 5-year warranty. • The contractor will be required to provide proof of liability insurance and workers compensation.
