The Downriver Career Technical Consortium (DCTC) is seeking bids for the remodel of the Trenton Athletic Club. The project includes various bid categories such as demolition, interior concrete, masonry, structural steel, general trades, roofing, glass and glazing, flooring, painting, food service equipment, elevator, fire suppression, mechanical, electrical, site work, and fencing. Bidders are required to submit their proposals electronically via Building Connected, and the bid opening will be held virtually on April 21, 2026. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract with the DCTC on the AIA Document A132-2019 Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Contractor, Construction Manager as Advisor Edition. Some key requirements for bidders include: • Providing a bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid • Submitting a Familial Disclosure Form, an Iran Economic Sanctions Act Form, and an Affidavit of Compliance – Criminal Background Check Form • Having an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of 1.0 or less • Including state sales and/or use taxes in the bid proposal • Paying construction mechanics at prevailing wage rates and reporting requirements.
