Description
The Cecil County Public Schools is seeking sealed bids for the North East Middle/High School Replacement Project - 33A Irishtown Road Improvements. The project involves the construction of a new school building on land adjacent to the existing high school, which will be co-located with the existing middle school. The new building will meet USGBC LEED v4 Building Design and Construction Silver Certification requirements and current building codes, energy codes, and accessibility standards. The project also includes the demolition of the existing building, which will be advertised separately.
* The project requires a 5% MBE participation goal.
* The bidder must submit a completed Attachment D-1A MBE Utilization and Fair Solicitation Affidavit & MBE Participation Schedule with their bid.
* A pre-bid meeting will be held on November 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM (ET) at North East High School.
* Questions regarding the bid may be submitted through OPENGOV until Noon, Wednesday, November 19, 2025 (12 noon EST).
