Sealed proposals for the 2025 Vertical Down Substructure Repairs, PIN 5764.18, Project No. FA-5764.18-25 will be received at the Erie County DPW-Division of Highways at 95 Franklin Street, 14th floor, Room 1419A, Buffalo, New York, until 10:00 a.m. local time, THURSDAY, April 2, 2026. This bridge rehabilitation including concrete abutment repairs, membrane and overlay, joint repairs, and railing safety upgrades project, is a Locally Administered Federal-Aid Project, requiring compliance with NYSDOT standards and 23 CFR Part 635. Plans, instructions for bidders, bid sheets, and special provisions may be downloaded Thursday, March 12, 2026 through bid date, from the Erie.gov website http://www2.erie.gov/dpw/, ON-LINE BID RETRIEVAL, or examined in person between 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. EST, at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Public Works, Highways, 95 Franklin Street, 14th floor, Buffalo, New York, 14202, (716) 858-8300. Bids will not be accepted unless the bid package is downloaded directly from www.erie.gov/dpw so that contact information is captured by ECDPW for bid addenda and communication. If a prospective bidder is not registered as a bidder with the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Public Works, Highways by virtue of his/her downloading of plans, then notices of subsequent contract-related meetings, appropriate contract addenda, or other significant matters related to the contract proposal or bid will not be communicated to said prospective bidder. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by bidder's certified check, as bid deposit, inserted in sealed bid, and payable to the "County of Erie" in the amount of $80,000.00 (eighty thousand dollars).
