Danville National Cemetery – National Shrine Project 809-NSP25-006

The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, is intending to issue a solicitation for the Danville National Cemetery National Shrine Project. This project involves providing complete section renovation for the cemetery sections, including site surveying, preparing grading plans, vegetation removal, grading and drainage, excavation and backfill, headstone identification/tagging, headstone handling, flat marker geogrid support system, headstone re-installation, headstone cleaning, turf renovation, and site restoration work. The contractor will be required to coordinate daily with cemetery staff and maintain strict decorum and safety standards. Some key points to consider: • The project is set aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms verified under SBA's VetCert program. • The anticipated period of performance is 365 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. • Turf renovation work is restricted to seasonal windows. • The Government is currently considering NAICS 561730 (Landscaping Services) or 238990 (All Other Specialty Trade Contractors).
