Description
The Bureau of Indian Affairs is seeking a contractor to perform brush clearing services for the Chickasaw Agency in Johnston County, Oklahoma. The project involves clearing approximately 72 acres of land, with the goal of removing small trees, cedar saplings, vines, blackberry bushes, and other woody species. The contractor will be required to use approved equipment and follow standard operating procedures to minimize soil disturbance and protect natural resources. The project is expected to last for 60 days, from August 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026.
• The contractor will be responsible for conducting their own inspection and evaluation of the project area prior to submitting a bid.
• The contractor will be required to maintain project records and submit them to the Agency upon completion of each project or upon request.
• The contractor will be required to follow all applicable Federal, State, Tribal, and local laws, regulations, policies, and safety requirements.
• The contractor will be required to use only approved equipment and follow standard operating procedures to minimize soil disturbance and protect natural resources.
• The contractor will be required to maintain a project log and submit it to the Agency as required by the contract.
