The vendor must provide complete manufacturer literature, comply with municipal tax‑exempt status, and submit a sealed bid with required affidavits by the bid opening deadline. The contract may be expanded to additional units through July 31, 2027, and the equipment can be piggy‑backed by other government entities for 12 months after award. • Must supply a 2026‑or‑newer truck with Cummins X12 engine, Allison 4500RDS transmission, specified axles, ABS, and a fully equipped vacuum body. • All shipping costs are to be included; FOB Valdosta, GA 31601. • Required documentation includes non‑collusion and immigration compliance affidavits; bid withdrawal is not permitted after opening.

Budget estimate

$150,000 – $250,000

The solicitation does not disclose price, but a brand‑new combination hydro‑excavation truck with the listed specifications typically ranges from $150,000 to $250,000. Because the city must obtain council approval for contracts over $25,000, it is reasonable to assume the contract value falls within that range. Additional units (if ordered) could increase total spend, but the base award is likely in the $150k–$250k bracket.
