Economy Parking Lot Modifications

The City of Lakeland is seeking a qualified design-build firm to design and construct entrance modifications and supporting infrastructure for the implementation of a Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS) within the Economy Parking Lot at Lakeland Linder International Airport. The project includes, but is not limited to, one entry lane and one exit lane, electrical, communications, and associated site modifications required to support owner-furnished PARCS equipment. The selected firm/contractor shall coordinate with and support the installation and integration of this equipment, ensuring full system compatibility and operational continuity. Key aspects of the project include: • Entrance and Exit Modifications: Reconfiguration of existing entrance and exit lanes to accommodate one entry lane and one exit lane for controlled access • PARCS Infrastructure: Installation of all infrastructure required to support entry and exit kiosks, gates, and associated equipment • Canopies: Installation of canopy structures over entry and exit lanes to protect ticketing and payment equipment • Electrical Systems: Installation of power service, conduit, wiring, and connections to support PARCS equipment • Data and Communications: Installation of communication infrastructure required for system operation • Site and Civil Improvements: Pavement modifications, striping, and signage for traffic control and wayfinding • Lighting and Safety: Installation or modification of site lighting to support safe vehicle and pedestrian circulation The city is looking for a firm with experience in similar projects, particularly those involving airport parking facilities, parking access and revenue control systems, and owner-furnished equipment integration. The selected firm will be required to provide a lump sum price proposal and a Schedule of Values breakdown.
