The City of Pleasanton is seeking a consulting firm to guide it through the Federal Railroad Administration's (FRA) Quiet Zone process. The selected consultant will lead the city's staff in implementing a quiet zone at four public crossings, complete a preliminary evaluation, and develop plans using supplemental safety measures (SSMs) to qualify for quiet zone implementation. The consultant will also interact with the FRA, design improvements, and assist the city in identifying funding for construction elements.
