The Alaska Department of Fish and Game is announcing a public meeting of the Northern Norton Sound Fish & Game Advisory Committee on Monday, October 26, 2026 at 1:00 pm. The meeting will be held in person at the University of Alaska Fairbanks Education Room 107/109 (the Grand Hall) and simultaneously via Zoom. Agenda items include elections for multiple committee seats (Nome, Wales, Golovin, Teller, Brevig Mission, Undesignated, and Alternates), election of a secretary, discussion of Western Arctic and Western Board of Game proposals, and other fish and wildlife topics. The advisory committee provides a local forum for fish and wildlife issues, develops and evaluates regulatory proposals, and advises regional councils. Participation is open to the public, and accommodations can be arranged by contacting the Board Support Section.
