NETA – Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract to the International Electrical Testing Association Inc. (NETA) for training, evaluation, and certification of competency of Soldiers of the 249th Engineering Battalion. The contract will provide online technical training, electrical safety training, and self-paced technical seminars. • The contract will allow Soldiers to be certified in accordance with the ANSI/NETA ETT through NETA. • The contract will be subject to the same rules, policies, and guidelines established by NETA that govern the examination and certification of NETA Certified Testing Technicians. • NETA will provide the infrastructure, tracking, administers support, and provides avenues for earning continuing technical development credits (CTD credits) through NETA. • The period of performance will be one base year and two option years of 12 months each.
