Description
The State of North Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking bids for the provision of Corrugated Pipe with Welded Flanged Joints and Headwalls. The pipe will be used for Sampson County Bridge Maintenance and Pipe Replacement for Duplin Co SR1807 CR Edwards Rd. The successful vendor will be required to deliver and assemble the pipe within thirty consecutive calendar days after receipt of purchase order. The vendor must also provide all necessary hardware and materials to complete the project. The State encourages the vendor to identify opportunities to reduce the total cost to the State.
• The contract will be awarded to the vendor that offers the lowest price that meets the specifications.
• The vendor must be authorized by the manufacturer to distribute or resell the products.
• The vendor must provide a signed statement from the manufacturer confirming authorization.
• The vendor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
• The vendor must provide a detailed drawing of the pipe and headwalls, stamped by an NCDOT Materials & Test inspector.
• The vendor must provide a safety bracing plan to eliminate the tipping or falling of the headwall during assembly.
