The U.S. Navy is seeking a contractor to supply a 1.00 inch socketweld globe valve, in accordance with NAVSEA drawing 803-6397434. The valve must meet specific material and testing requirements, including quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis, and first article testing. The contractor must also maintain a quality system in accordance with ISO-9001 and provide certification data for each shipment of material. • The contractor must provide a certificate of compliance for all weld filler metals used. • The contractor must develop written procedures for material control and traceability. • The contractor must maintain adequate records of all inspections and tests. • The contractor must provide a forging manufacturing sketch and first article testing report. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental and safety requirements.
