Description
The Gordon County School System is seeking proposals for the removal and installation of flooring and cove base at Red Bud Elementary School. The project includes moving and relocating furniture, equipment, and classroom items as needed to complete the work. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the project. The proposal must include a detailed outline for cost, service, and products to complete the project.
• The project requires the removal of existing Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT)/Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) flooring and associated adhesives.
• The contractor must properly dispose of all removed flooring materials in compliance with environmental and district disposal guidelines.
• The contractor must protect all surrounding surfaces, walls, furniture, and fixtures during demolition.
• The contractor must ensure dust and debris are contained and do not spread to adjacent occupied areas.
• The contractor must inspect the existing subfloor for damage or imperfections after removal and repair cracks, holes, or uneven surfaces as required.
