Washington State Ferries seeks a single, portable, freestanding lithium‑ion battery storage building/locker to be fabricated and delivered to the Eagle Harbor Maintenance Facility on Bainbridge Island. The contract is limited to supply and transport only; the vendor will not be responsible for installation, anchoring, electrical connections, permitting, or any on‑site work. The solicitation includes detailed fire‑rating, ventilation, climate‑control, and hazardous‑material compliance requirements, referencing multiple safety and building codes.
• Provide a fully fabricated steel‑frame storage locker (~10‑11 ft square, 8‑9 ft high) with 2‑hour fire‑rated walls, roof, floor, and doors.
• Include explosion‑proof ventilation, automatic climate control (40‑80 °F, 0‑65 % RH), UL‑listed electrical panel, fire detection system, and required signage.
• Deliver the completed unit FOB to the Eagle Harbor Maintenance Facility by the required date; installation and any site work are excluded.
