Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is requesting a custom assembly of seven individually shielded coaxial conductors woven into a single cable. The vendor shall provide a quantity of five cable assemblies with each assembly measuring six hundred feet in length. The cable assembly will be constructed in accordance with the minimum specifications provided, including the use of Reynolds type C high-voltage coaxial cables, a Belden 8404 center cable, and a braided strength member rated for a 20,000-pound breaking strength. The outer jacket of the cable assembly shall be extruded polyethylene (PE) with a nominal diameter of 0.91 inch, and the preferred color is red.
• The contract will be awarded to the responsible quoter whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
• The Government intends to evaluate all timely quotes received from eligible quoters on a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) basis.
• The quote package shall include the official company name, firm fixed price, FOB destination, point of contact name and phone number, CAGE code, business size, and payment terms.
