Manhole Rehabilitation

The City of Kingsland is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to rehabilitate four sanitary sewer manholes using the SpectraShield system, OBIC lining system, or another City-approved manhole rehabilitation system. The project involves rehabilitating manholes at four different locations, including Haddock Road Lift Station, Ford Manhole #1, Ford Manhole #2, and May Creek Lift Station. The contractor will be responsible for materials, labor, equipment, traffic control, confined space entry, by-pass pumping, water intrusion, bench/invert repair, and cleaning prior to coating application. • The City will make reasonable efforts to minimize wastewater flow at each lift station during construction. • The contractor shall be responsible for completing the work under existing operating conditions. • Complete shutdown of wastewater flow will not be possible. • The contractor must verify all dimensions, measurements, existing conditions, and quantities prior to submitting a proposal. • The City assumes no responsibility for inaccuracies in measurements relied upon by the contractor.
