LLA Navigation Lock Switchgear

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the medium‑ and low‑voltage switchgear, motor control centers, and associated equipment at the Lower Granite Dam navigation lock in Pomeroy, WA. The effort includes new switchgear installations, transformer supply, concrete pads, cable trays, demolition of existing gear, and comprehensive safety, quality‑control, and documentation requirements. Work is expected to occur during 2028‑2029 lock outages, culminating in a fully modernized electrical system for the navigation lock. • Provide and install new medium‑voltage switchgear, low‑voltage switchgear, two motor‑control‑center line‑ups, and a 1,000 kVA transformer. • Perform demolition of existing electrical equipment, install new concrete pads, cable trays, and an HMI screen, and deliver as‑built drawings and O&M manuals. • Maintain rigorous on‑site safety (EM 385‑1‑1) and quality‑control programs, including a dedicated SSHO and CQC manager for each shift.
