Description
The opportunity is for a total small business set-aside to provide wiring harnesses to the US Army. The contract is a firm fixed price contract, and the quantity required is 70 units. The delivery point is Destination, and the FOB point is also Destination. The technical data package for this item contains purchased parts, and the contractor is responsible for producing the shop or process drawings needed to cover intermediate steps in the manufacturing process. The contractor is also responsible for obtaining all specifications and drawings necessary to manufacture the items being solicited in accordance with the TDP.
• The contract requires the contractor to use a quality-assurance system to ensure the quality of the contract items.
• The contractor must identify their quality system as part of their response to this solicitation.
• The contractor must provide supplies that are new, as defined in the clause, unless the contractor has proposed the use of other than new material and the procuring contracting officer has authorized its use.
