Description
The United States Navy is seeking a contractor to repair a D7R bulldozer, including replacing electrical A/C, wiring harness, servicing radiator, conducting engine reman, and other related services. The contractor will be responsible for picking up the bulldozer and blade from the Yokose facility, transporting it to their own facility for repairs, and then returning it to the Yokose facility after completion. The contractor will also be required to perform a complimentary vehicle inspection approximately every three months for a period of one year following the completion of this requirement.
• The contractor shall provide all management, tools, facilities, supplies, equipment, transportation, and labor necessary to complete the repair.
• The contractor shall develop and maintain a quality program to ensure services are performed in accordance with commonly accepted commercial practices.
• The contractor shall provide a specific quality control inspector for the government evaluator to contact.
• The contractor shall conduct the repair based on their company’s normal operating hours.
• The contractor shall provide all supporting documents and clearances required by the Naval Facilities they are entering.
