Description
The Lapeer County Intermediate School District is soliciting sealed bids for the installation of high-performance one-way reflective window film and shatter-resistant (security) film at the Education and Technology Center. The project is divided into two distinct application types based on location. The successful bidder must provide Certificates of Acord confirming they have the required insurance coverages and complete the work no later than October 16, 2026. Key aspects of the job include:
• Installation of one-way reflective privacy film and shatter-resistant film at specific locations
• Cleaning and preparation of windows prior to application
• Compliance with International Window Film Association (IWFA) Visual Inspection Standards
• A 30-60 day curing period during which moisture may be visible
• Work hours are restricted to regular business hours (M-F 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
• The successful bidder must provide 3 references and certify that it is not an Iran-linked business
