The City of Galax seeks qualified contractors to completely refurbish its outdoor swimming pool. The work includes surface replastering, structural repairs, installation of new racing lanes, upgrades to safety drain covers, depth markers, ladder anchors, and a new pool cover, all to meet current safety and industry standards. Bidders are encouraged to inspect the site before submitting proposals. • Replaster interior pool surface and repair beams, tile, and coping. • Install six new racing lanes, anti‑entrapment main drain cover, depth markers, ladder anchors, and a new pool cover. • Perform work in compliance with Virginia Graeme Baker Pool & Spa Safety Act and applicable industry standards. • On‑site inspections available upon request; the city reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any bids.
