Description
The DLA Maritime Norfolk – Contracting Division is seeking a contractor to provide a hose assembly, specifically a "lay-flat" water discharge hose with a 4" inner diameter. The hose must meet certain specifications, including a minimum weight of 1.75 pounds per foot, a working pressure of 100 pounds, and a temperature rating of -25 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. The contractor must also provide a written certification that the hose assemblies have been hydrostatically tested at 100 psi for 10 minutes with zero leaks and/or bulges. The contract will be awarded based on best value, considering factors such as technical capability, delivery, and price.
