De-Ionization System Cylinder Maintenance

The City of Orlando is seeking a qualified company to perform maintenance of activated carbon tanks and de-ionization (D.I.) resin tanks in use at various facilities. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the maintenance of these systems. The contract will be for a one-year term, with the option to renew for up to three additional years. The contractor must have at least five years of experience in performing comprehensive maintenance and performance enhancement for reverse osmosis and de-ionization systems. • The contractor will be responsible for exchanging activated carbon tanks at least twice a year and D.I. resin tanks at least once a year. • The contractor will be required to provide documentation of work performed at each facility and date. • The contractor must ensure that the water quality produced at the laboratories meets the level of purity outlined in the "Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater", 23rd Edition. • The contractor will be required to provide labor to make repairs and/or modifications to the system, as directed by the City.
