The DLA Aviation is conducting market research to identify parties interested in and capable of supporting the requirement for NSN 2915-01-060-1265, a fuel pressurizing and drain valve for the KC-135 aircraft. The selected party will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment required to manufacture the item. This includes procurement of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation, packaging, and shipping. The contractor may also be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, and shipping serviceable assets. * The requirement is for a 5-year base period. * The estimated requirement is for the LTC. * Approved sources are Eaton Corp. and ITT Aerospace Controls, but other interested contractors can submit a Source Approval Request package for approval. * The unit prices will be established at the time of contract award. * The government will evaluate market information to determine potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in the notice.
