Rehabilitation of Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe (PCCP) using Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP)

The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) is seeking proposals for the rehabilitation of prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP) using carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP). The project involves installing one continuous 72’ area of CFRP lining over three segments of a 72” diameter PCCP pipeline under Onward Road. The work includes furnishing labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, storage, and supervision required for the design, supply, and installation of internally bonded CFRP. • The pipeline is a 72” diameter pre-stressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP) located under Onward Road. • The project requires the installation of one continuous 72’ area of CFRP lining over three segments of the pipeline. • The work includes furnishing labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, storage, and supervision required for the design, supply, and installation of internally bonded CFRP. • The project must be completed by the end of TRWD’s planned winter maintenance shutdown in February and March 2026. • The work should take no more than a 3-week time frame to be completed.
