Description
Gwinnett County is soliciting competitive quotes from qualified contractors for the Gwinnett County Fire Station #24 Parking Lot Improvements Project. The project includes asphalt surface improvements, striping, and signage. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the work. The project must be substantially completed by August 1, 2026.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Asphalt surface improvements through full-depth removal, milling & overlay, and crack fill and sealing
• Striping and other marking must be installed as indicated on the design
• Wheel stops, signs, and posts affected by construction must be securely reinstalled
• The contractor must attend a scheduled pre-quote conference to inspect existing conditions and verify necessary conditions to properly execute the work
• The contractor will be required to work under the supervision of and comply with directions of the County representative
• All work must comply with the intent of the Construction Documents
• The contractor must have a final proposed plan ready for the preconstruction meeting which must be approved by the County Representative
