Contract Modification for Acoustic Device Countermeasure (ADC) MK 5

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is soliciting interest for a contract modification to Leidos Holdings, Inc. for the Acoustic Device Countermeasure (ADC) MK 5 system. The ADC MK 5 is a mobile acoustic countermeasure designed to increase a submarine's survivability against torpedo threats. The contract modification will be for additional Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) units and associated engineering support. Interested parties may express their interest and capability in response to this notice. • The ADC MK 5 system is an expendable, mobile acoustic countermeasure. • The contract modification is for additional LRIP units and associated engineering support. • Leidos is the original developer of the ADC MK 5 system and is determined to be the only available source capable of fulfilling the requirements without causing unacceptable schedule delays. • Interested parties may submit a capability statement detailing their technical expertise and ability to fulfill the requirements.
