Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole-source contract to Illumina, Inc. for Illumina reagents and consumables. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The FBI requires these reagents and consumables to support the Laboratory Division's mission in developing a single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) profile for Investigative Genetic Genealogy (IGG) investigations and performing DNA sequencing for information-investigation-intelligence (i3) casework.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing Illumina reagents and consumables for the MiSeq i100 Plus benchtop sequencer system and the NextSeq 2000 sequencing system
• Supporting the Laboratory Division's mission in IGG investigations and i3 casework
• Utilizing Sequencing by Synthesis (SBS) technology
• Meeting the FBI's specific needs through the submission of technical capabilities and cost information
