ARTB Boat Motors

The US Army is seeking to purchase outboard boat motors and related accessories. The required items include 55HP outboard boat engines, motor support kits, and ready service/spare parts kits. The engines must be designed for small craft applications, operate on gasoline with certified NMMA TC-W3 2-cycle synthetic marine oil, and have features such as through-hub exhaust and rapid dewatering capability. The motor support kits must include essential consumables and service accessories, while the ready service/spare parts kits must include a range of components to support the maintenance and repair of the engines. • The engines must be 55HP, 2-stroke, gasoline, submersible, and air-deployable. • The motor support kits must include a 10-foot fuel line assembly, TC-W3 2-cycle synthetic marine oil, and other accessories. • The ready service/spare parts kits must include a range of components, including a thermostat, spark plugs, and propeller assembly. • The quantities required are 4 units each of the engines, motor support kits, and ready service/spare parts kits.
