Description
The City of Henderson is soliciting sealed bids for labor to perform various concrete projects throughout the city. This work will include removal and replacement of flatwork, construction of new sidewalks, curb and gutter, installation of ADA curb ramps, and other related tasks. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, labor, and materials, except for certain materials that will be provided by the city. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, and the city reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
• The contractor must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting and submit a pre-qualification form.
• The contractor must provide a bid bond in the amount of $5,000.
• The contractor must provide a performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of $50,000.
• The contractor must maintain certain insurance coverage, including general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
• The contractor must provide a unit price for each item on the bid pricing sheet.
• The contractor must submit a sworn statement in conformity with KRS 45A.395.
