MoDOT CO Class Seven Chassis

The Missouri Department of Transportation is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide four new, class seven, regular cab, 4x2, strait frame chassis. The chassis will be upfitted with a flatbed including non-removable ballast and a TMA. The completed truck will weigh 25,000lbs. +/- 3%. The contract period will be from the date of award through one year. Key requirements include: * Conventional cab * Diesel engine * Automatic transmission with PTO provision * Air brakes * 126" CA * Minimum 60" AF * Minimum 120K frame tensile strength and 2,400,000 RBM (20.11 SM) rating * 33,000 lbs. GVWR * Parabolic front springs * Front and rear shock absorbers * Deluxe, air ride, high back driver's seat providing the operator with head and neck protection * Minimum 240-amp alternator * Minimum 2 batteries * Master battery disconnect * Power windows, and door locks * Power and heated mirrors with full size spot mirrors * 7-way trailer light harness to the rear of the frame-blunt cut * Minimum of 4 Upfitter/bodybuilder aux switches/circuits * Chassis shall not utilize a low voltage disconnect * Backup alarm * Backup camera - to be mounted by upfitter * Manufacturers' standard chassis and engine warranty * Cab color – DuPont LL2065EB, Sikkens Akzo Nobel School Bus Yellow 4421, or equivalent
