Fabrication of PIP-II GMPS CAPACITORS

Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) is seeking a subcontractor to design, manufacture, test, and deliver Booster GMPS Power Supply Girder Resonant Capacitors. The capacitors must meet specific technical requirements, including dielectric material, internal termination style, and overall construction. The subcontractor must also demonstrate their ability to predict and document capacitor performance, including capacitance, lifetime, and operating characteristics. The proposal must include a technical proposal, a business management and price proposal, and a small business subcontracting plan. The subcontractor must also demonstrate their experience and capability to manufacture capacitors of similar complexity and operating characteristics. • The subcontractor must provide a firm-fixed-price proposal for the GMPS Capacitors. • The subcontractor must demonstrate their ability to meet or exceed the technical requirements identified in the Technical Specification 0323–ES–282493 REV A. • The subcontractor must provide a quality management system and testing capabilities that meet or exceed the requirements identified herein. • The subcontractor must demonstrate their capability to perform all inspections and acceptance tests required by Section 5 of Technical Specification 0323–ES–282493 REV A. • The subcontractor must provide complete inspection reports, test reports, material certifications, and manufacturing documentation with each delivered capacitor.
