The U.S. Navy is seeking a contractor to provide a Complete Stem and Disk Assembly in accordance with Flowserve drawing 2536-5. The assembly must consist of a Disk, Disk Nut, Retaining Ring (Stem), and Stem. The material for the Stem must be ASTM-A276, Type 410, heat-treated to 282-320 BHN, before machining. The contractor must provide a certificate of compliance certifying that the items furnished under this contract comply with the requirements of the procurement document. The contractor must also maintain a quality system in accordance with ISO-9001 and provide and maintain a quality system in accordance with the contract requirements. Key points to consider: • The contractor must provide a certificate of compliance for all weld filler metals used for production or repair welding. • The contractor must maintain adequate records of all inspections and tests. • The contractor must ensure that all purchased products conform to specified purchase requirements and this contract. • The contractor must evaluate the requirements of the contract and select suppliers based on their ability to supply the product in accordance with the prime contractor's requirements and the contract.
